What are we learning?

Dear Sapitos Parents,

We would like to thank you once again for all your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life.

This week we will learn to be little travelers and we will celebrate the country where we live. The children will learn about interesting facts of USA. We are going to learn about all the amazing places we can find in the US like lakes, beaches, etc. We are scheduling exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as participating in the Independence Day parade on Friday. It will be a colorful and fun day for the children.

Materials for Special Projects/Activities

Bring swimsuit or Splash diapers, a towel and extra set of clothing for Splash days.

Friendly Reminders

  • Bring extra sets of clothing for your child so your child gets changed if he/she gets wet or dirty.
  • Sunscreen is important to protect your child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn. Yet applying sunscreen to your child requires planning. If sunscreen must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and label the sunscreen bottle with your child's name.
  • Bring diapers, wipes and diaper rash ointment/cream on Mondays or when needed and make sure to label them with your child’s name.
  • Bring towels for your child and make sure to label it with your child’s name.

  • Travel Day on Tuesday, June 28th.
  • Picnic Day on Wednesday, June 29th.
  • Baking Day on Thursday, June 30th.
  • The Independence Day Parade on Friday, July 1st.
  • School will be closed on Independence Day, Monday, July 4th.

What are we learning?

Dear Sapitos Parents,

Our summer camp is finally here! We are so excited that we are able to keep encouraging children learn new things and develop their creativity while having a fun and exciting time. We are scheduling exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as preparing lemonade, making a delicious fruit salad and sandwiches and creating art crafts. Children will also have Splash days.

Bring sunglasses for your child on Tuesday, June 21st. Please make sure to label the sunglasses with your child’s name.

What are we learning?

Dear Sapitos Parents,

This week the children will learn about how we have grown in a year. We will discuss all the improvements in their developments through play. We have also scheduled exciting learning activities that will allow us strengthen motor and cognitive-sensory skills. We will also work in a father’s day project for Father’s Day Celebration that will take place on Thursday June 16th at 4:30 p.m.

  • Sunscreen is important to protect your child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn. Yet applying sunscreen to your child requires planning. If sunscreen must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and label the sunscreen bottle with your child's name.
  • Take your child’s blanket home on Friday for laundry and bring it back on Monday.
  • Bring diapers, wipes and diaper rash ointment/cream on Monday and make sure to label them with your child’s name.
  • Do not bring your child toys to the classroom since they can break or get lost.

We have also scheduled exciting learning activities that will allow us strengthen motor and cognitive-sensory skills and one of them is art project of stars.
