SAPITOS  A
Miss Marcia & Miss Juliana
Week from:  November 30th to December 4th,   2015.
Theme of the Week: “My family's traditions”

Dear Parents,

Welcome to a new week!  We will start to work on a new topic, “My Family’s Traditions.” December is a special month that encourages people to gather together to celebrate. As members of a family and community, we are engaged in different celebrations and events. Through the study of this topic, our Sapitos will have the opportunity to understand the importance and reasons for these celebrations, like: how and where are held, and which elements are included in these celebrations.  Also, they’ll learn about different traditions and celebrations that take place at different levels of society, including: the household, the community, and the world.
We will continue to teach Spanish as a second language in fun way while they grow up enjoying our fun activities in a comfortable, healthy, and safe environment.

CANCION/ SONG
The children in Sapitos A class will enjoy singing the song "Mis Tradiciones Familiares." Parents, please encourage your child to listen to this song at home too. It can be found on our Sff! CD.

Learning activities:
Children will continue to learn special concepts, including: colors, shapes, and prepositions. They will continue to work on their socio-emotional development by following routines, listening to directions, sharing with others, and expressing themselves in constructive way.
Through art activities the children will continue to express their creativity and imagination.
