"How I grow and change"

Dear Parents,

This week we will be talking about our theme, "How I grow and change".  It is important that the child acquires knowledge of the stages and changes that occur in the body. We will do several games and on Friday they are going to pretend to take care of their babies. They will pretend to take them to the doctor, to the park, and they are going to bathe and feed their baby dolls.

*On Monday 14th we will have a special event where we ask our kids to bring a baby doll or an action figure to get a pretend shot from one of our volunteer parents who will pretend to be our doctor that day*

Look for images in magazines that show stages of growth and bring them to class to paste them into a flipchart.

Project

On Friday, as our weekly project, we will take care of our baby dolls. The children can bring your favorite doll to play and have fun. Thank you very much.

Friendly Reminders

·         On Monday, please bring diapers and towels with your name or initials for use during the week if possible, thank you.

·         The seasons are changing, please check your child’s cubby and replace with weather appropriate clothing, also remember to bring two complete changes extras in case there is any accident.

·         Please avoid bringing toys from home to avoid living well; they could break or get lost, thanks.
