SUMMER CAMP WEEK 2

“WE GO CAMPING” - “VAMOS DE CAMPAMENTO”

Hello!  Dear parents:

Hope you had a good weekend. During this week we will be learning about “Carpa, La linterna, La mochila, La bolsa para dormir, Los primeros auxilios, Los insectos, El río, El lago, La fogata, La caminata, La pijama, La tienda de campaña”

WORDS OF THE WEEK: (Please practice the words at home)

Los colores: The colors.

Estado del tiempo Lluvioso: Rainy weather

Tengo .... años: I am .... years old.

Los dias de la semana: The days of the week.

Esta caliente!: It’s hot!!

Estados del tiempo: The weather.

Lluvioso: Rainy.

Nublado: Cloudy.

Necesito ir al baño: I need to going to the restroom.

Arriba: Up.

Abajo: Down.

Despacio: Slowly.

Figuras geometricas: Geometric shapes.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES THIS WEEK:

_  We will make a lantern craft with construction paper.

_ We will have a picnic.

_We will make a tent with construction paper.

_ We will make a collage with leaves and flowers.

_ We will make binoculars with paper towel.

_ We will make stamps of flowers and leaves.

Special notes:

Splash Day: Tuesday in the afternoon and Friday in the morning.

Monday: Please bring binoculars

Wednesday: We will have a Picnic, please share with us some snacks such as fruit, juice, crackers, cheese and be sure that everything is peanut free. Lastly, please bring a sleeping bag for nap time.

Thursday: Pijama day!!

Friday: Please bring a flashlight.

Weekly reminder:

• Please do not forget to label your child’s belongings.
• Please check if your child has dirty clothes every day and make sure to your child has extra clothing in his/her cubby
• Please pick up your blankets every Friday.
• Please bring baby wipes.
• The Sapitos "A" classroom is very cold sometimes, please leave a     comfortable sweater for your children to use when the class gets too cold.
• Please, bring sunscreen for your child and don’t forget sign the corresponding authorization form.
