Dear Parents,

This week we will continue talking about plants, their growth and functions. Our sapitos children will have fun while learning how to grow and care for plants! We will be teaching them the good things that give us food and oxygen. We have also scheduled a germination experiment so children can see how a plant grows from a seed.

Theme of the Week: “Parts of plants”

Hello first of all I would like to thank you for your support and participation in the international festival, children really enjoyed it. Thank you.
During this week we will learn the parts of the plants, different kinds of flowers and fruits. We will learn which plants can be eaten and how beautiful colored the flowers are.
We will learn more about the nature through several games and interesting activities for our children.

Un día en el parque jugando estaba
Con mis amigos de Sff,
Mire hacia el suelo, vi algo pequeño
La semillita yo vi pasar
Yo la tome con mucho cuidado
Y en una taza con amor la sembré,

We’ll continue rehearsing our Latin dance.  We hope everyone feels at ease discussing these activities at home.

This week we’ll continue with our theme: "My Country” and we’ll switch our focus to such topics as: states, tourist centers, and sharing our own personal visits with our families to historical and important places in the United States. We’ll also talk about how the Cherokee lived and will see a short video. We’ll will take home art that we’ve made as well. We hope to feel excited about the activities and as always when you give yourself to participate in one of our activities our doors are open.
