What are we learning?

Dear Sapitos Parents,

We would like to thank you for your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life.

Welcome to a new school year at Sff! We are also excited to welcome new children in our classroom! We are looking forward to getting to know you and your child. Children will need to adapt to a new teacher and new friends, we will be with them in every step of the way. This week our theme will be My school and friends! Children will start exploring the school as a big house and a big family. We have scheduled exciting learning activities related to this theme that will allow us to continue strengthening motor, cognitive-sensory and language. Children will get familiar with all the school materials and our guidelines and rules in the classroom.

  • Bring extra sets of clothing for your child so your child gets changed if he/she gets wet or dirty.
  • Sunscreen is important to protect your child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn. Yet applying sunscreen to your child requires planning. If sunscreen must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen (no spray please) and label the sunscreen bottle with your child's name.

What are we learning?

Dear Sapitos Parents,

We would like to thank you once again for all your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life.

The last week of Summer Camp is finally here and we want to thank you for giving us the opportunity  to teach and take care of your little children. The children have enjoyed all our learning activities including Camping Day, Splash Day, Princesses and Knights Parade, etc.

This week we will learn to be Little Clowns and Magicians. Children will explore the life in the circus. We have scheduled exciting learning activities related to this theme that will allow us to continue strengthening motor, cognitive-sensory and language skills. On Thursday, we will have a social event at Sff! Children will dance, play and have a lot of fun.

Materials for Special Projects/Activities

Bring swimsuit, splashers or swim diapers, towel, water shoes and a plastic bag for wet clothes. Pack all these items in a tote bag for your child on Splash days. We recommend to label the bag, swimsuit, towel and shoes with your child’s name.

What are we learning?

Dear Sapitos Parents,

We would like to thank you once again for all your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life.

We are getting down to the last few weeks of Summer Camp! This week we will learn to be Little Athletes. We will continue creating safe learning environments that offer the children the opportunity to explore sports. We have scheduled exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor, cognitive-sensory and language skills. One of them is the Olympics Parade at Sff! Children will create the Olympic Flag, they will also participate in competitions and on Friday, they will have so much fun on our bike ride.

Miss Juliana will be on vacation but she will be kept in the loop of all our activities for this week.

What are we learning?

This week we will learn to be little creators. We will continue creating safe learning environments that offer the children the opportunity to explore, experiment and create products or inventions using a variety of recycled materials. We will discuss how important is to care for nature and to recycle materials. We have scheduled exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills. Children will have fun while working on different art projects through the week. One of the most exciting activities will be water play. Children will give a bath to their plastic animal in the preschool backyard.

This week we will learn to be little scientists. We will continue creating safe learning environments that offer the children the opportunity to explore and experiment with science. We will talk about aquatic animals and we will tell stories about the sea world. We have scheduled exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as preparing homemade play dough, playing with water while mixing colors in it, creating aquatic animals shapes to decorate the classroom and painting a rainbow.

We have scheduled exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as planting flower seeds to create a garden, creating art projects of flowers with clay and decorating flower pots and participating in a camping.

This week we will learn to be little readers. Children will learn about reading and its benefits. Reading has a significant number of benefits and it will enable children to get knowledge, stimulate them, help them with vocabulary expansion, develop analytical skills and improve focus. We are scheduling exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as playing with favorite characters and imitating them and participating in a Princess and Knights Dress up Parade.

We are going to learn about all the amazing places we can find in the US like lakes, beaches, etc. We are scheduling exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as participating in the Independence Day parade on Friday. It will be a colorful and fun day for the children.
