Week 51: Princesses and Knights

“Princesses and Knights” – “Princesas y Caballeros”

Dear Parents,
This week was very interesting for the children as they enjoyed learning everything related to the dinosaurs. They were very excited and comfortable because they love that topic. Next week we will discuss another very interesting topic for them: "Princesses and Knights.” This will be very fun and educational, they will enjoy it a lot. Thank you for your continuous support and remember that you are always welcome to participate in our activities.

Tuesday: Story time.

·           Please remember to bring extra clothes for this summer.
·           We also will be need swimwear and a towel for splash days.
·           Please bring sunscreen for your child and fill the form so we can have it in the class.
·           Remember that children should not bring toys to the class, as this causes discomfort among children.

Week 50: Dinosaurs

Week 50 from: July 20th to July 24th, 2015
“Dinosaurs” – “Los Dinosaurios”

Dear Parents,
Last week, the children enjoyed themselves pretending to be a part of a large Zoo. This week we will have another interesting topic for them - we will be talking about Dinosaurs! Please have your child bring their favorite dinosaur this week. We will talk about many characteristics of dinosaurs, including: how they lived, what they ate, their bodies, their sizes, colors, and also why they no longer exist.  We will make a craft of their world and their fossils. We look forward to your continuous support. Thank You.

Week 49: The Zoo

Week 49 from: July 13th to July 17th, 2015
“The Zoo” – “El Zoologico”

Dear Parents,
This week we will be talking about Zoo animals! This topic will be very interesting for children because they love to learn everything about animals. We will be doing many activities including making a 3-D elephant.

If anyone has large boxes or other recyclable material at home to donate, we’d love to use them to make our elephant. Thank you for your support.

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES:
Monday: Bring your favorite stuffed zoo animal to share with the class.
Tuesday: We will build a small zoo.

Friday: Mask Festival!

Week 48: The Aquatic World

“The Aquatic World” – “El Mundo Acuatico”

Dear Parents,
After enjoying the long weekend, we will move on to a beautiful and interesting topic: "The Aquatic World" and the children are going to love it. We will make sea animals, play with water and sand, have our splash days and be introduced to the Aquatic World! As always, we count on your support and welcome anyone who wants to come and share photos or stories about the sea. Thank you.
