Week 47: Celebrating Independence Day!

“Celebrating Independence Day” – “Celebrando día de la Independencia”
Dear Parents,
I hope you all a have a great weekend with the Sapitos who worked so hard this week and enjoyed their time exploring - we had a lot of fun! Thank you for your support with the exploration materials.

Next week, we will be "Celebrating Independence Day" as our theme and we will teach our children about our country in a fun way to help them learn!

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES:
Monday: We will pretend to be the President of the United States.
Tuesday: Crazy Hair Day!
Wednesday: Picnic Day with fruit and painting.
Thursday: Independence Day Parade
Friday: School closed. Observed Holiday

FRIENDLY REMINDERS:
·           Please remember to bring extra clothes for this summer.
·           We also will be need swimwear and a towel for splash days.
·           Please bring sunscreen for your child and fill the form so we can have it in the class.
·           Remember that children should not bring toys to the class, as this causes discomfort among children.

Week 46: We go camping!

Week 46 from: June 22nd to 26th, 2015
“We go camping” – “No vamos de campamento” 

Dear Parents,
We want to thank the fathers who participated in our celebration. “YAY fathers!” It was very fun and events like this make us grow more like family at Sff! This week we will discuss the theme, "We go camping", through various fun activities for our very motivated and eager to learn Sapitos!
As always, we count on your support during our activities to that we can make the best of them for our wonderful children.

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES:
Monday: We will be explorers! Please bring binoculars, water bottle, backpack, and flashlight. We will go find insects and rocks so that we can create an interest in nature and become great explorers. This will be inside the school.

Tuesday: Campfire day! We are going to create a pretend mini campfire to take home while we pretend to eat marshmallows. We will also sing songs and play with jump ropes.

Wednesday: Picnic day! We will read a story about fruit as well as a book about how to be good friends.  In the afternoon, we will become great chefs and make delicious lemonade.

Thursday: Nature day! We will listen to animal sounds, the sea, the wind, the leaves and play with paper balls.

Friday: Camping and Pajama day! Bring your sleeping bags so that we can camp indoors! If anyone has a tent they’d like to bring for this activity, we’d love to borrow it!

“Summer Is Here” – “El Verano Llego”


Dear Parents,
Summer is beginning and after a year of hard work our children will enjoy many fun activities and games during summer camp. For our summer camp, Miss Maria will be our new assistant teacher. We will be working together with our children to make them to feel comfortable and happy in our class.
This week our theme is "Summer is Here." We will have many activities, like talking about the different aspects of summer, including: the beach, the sun, the sand, and long walks in the evenings with our family at the beach. We will also celebrate Father's Day, for which the school has prepared special activities and games with our dads and kids.
We are excited to enjoy a happy afternoon with you!

On Thursday the 18th  we will have  an activities in the afternoon for father’s day

Our class activity will be a game where the pope will carry a child on his shoulders and walk as quickly as possible with a spoon with an egg on his mouth. It will be very fun!

Week 44: The Universe and Me!

“The Universe and Me” – “El Universo y yo”


Dear Parents,
The end of the school year is here! This time of year always gives us mixed feelings as we are a little sad but at the same time we are very happy to have been part of this large family. The achievements of our children are awesome and full of anecdotes and happy moments. This week we continue with “The Universe and Me.” This week we will build a rocket and a telescope.
On Thursday, please bring sunglasses so we can use them at the park with the telescope to see the sun.
