Hello Dear Parents!

This week, we will continue talking about Christmas. We will make decorative art, dance, and sing songs related to the holidays. We would like to thank all of you for you constant support and wish you a Merry Christmas!

SPECIAL NOTES

Miss Valeria will be on vacation for the next few weeks and will return on January 12. We will greatly miss her, but we will also enjoy the visit from Ms. Liliana in our classroom.

FRIENDLY REMINDERS

As the seasons change, please be sure to check your child's cubbies and replace current clothing with the weather appropriate clothing. Also, please bring two complete changes of clothes in case there are any accidents.

Please do not bring toys to the classroom.

Be sure that there are labels on all belongings (i.e. blankets and extra clothes) with your child’s name before bringing them to school.

Check if your child has dirty clothes every day because accidents can happen.

Please use the Spanish for fun! Uniform.

“The Community and Me” – “La comunidad y yo”

Hello Dears Parents!

This week we will continue with the theme of "My community and I." We will talk about some traits of different part of the community and why they are helpful. For this, we will make art,  sing songs, and say tongue twisters, poems and play different games.

Conozco mucha mucha gente en mi vida,

Que siempre ayuda con mucha alegría

Y si tú quieres conocer sus oficios

Son los amigos que te cuidaran.

Son muchas las personas

Que trabajan en mi comunidad

Lo hacen con mucho esmero

Siempre listos a ayudar

Doctor, policía, bombero

Profesor y  muchos más

Cartero, basurero, jardinero.

Son parte de mi comunidad.

El cocinero mezcla los sabores

Tiene su cocina de ricos olores

El veterinario cura perros y pajaritos

Siempre está rodeado de animalitos.

Pinceles pomos y telas usa el pintor

Hizo un cuadro de mucho color

El semáforo en la calle

Debemos de mirar

Si esta rojo no pasamos

Pues tenemos que esperar

De pronto se pone ¡!verde!!

Es momento de pasar.
